Suspicious Fire In North Babylon

NORTH BABYLON, NY – On Sunday night (April 19, 2009) the North Babylon Fire Department responded to the Curves store at 1350-12 Deer Park Avenue. Dispatch advised a caller stated a Molotov cocktail was thrown through the window. Police, who were responding as well, also received the same information.

 

Arriving units were met with heavy smoke upon arrival. Deer Park was requested to the scene as well. A 13/35 was never transmitted although crews did have a small fire inside the building which they quickly knocked down before it spread.
