Working Fire In North Amityville

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - The North Amityville Fire Company responded to a house fire Tuesday (December 8, 2009) evening around 5:10 p.m. The initial call came in as a car fire which extended into a 2 story home. The fire happened at 115 Williams Avenue.

 

North Lindenhurst responded in with a Rapid Intervention Team while Amityville Village responded in with an additional engine. Firefighters made quick work of the fire and brought it under control within a half hour. The SCPD Arson Squad was requested to the scene due to the nature of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
