BABYLON,  NY – The Babylon Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a building early Friday morning (April 10, 2009). The accident occurred around 9am and took place behind the Chase Bank, located at 31 West Montauk Highway.

The driver of a Honda Civic lost control of their vehicle, went over numerous parking spaces and crashed into the corner of the Chase Bank. The accident occurred in the back parking lot.

Babylon Firefighters secured the vehicle and used a bulldozer to remove the vehicle from the building. The building appeared structurally sound, while a few thick bushes and a fence took the majority of the damage.
