Truck vs. Van In West Islip

WEST ISLIP, NY – A landscaping truck crashed into a florist van late Thursday (July 9, 2009) afternoon in West Islip. The accident occurred at the corner of Montauk Highway and Pat Drive.

 

A landscaping truck collided with a florist van sending both vehicles up onto the sidewalk. The landscaping truck crashed through a sign at 1253 Montauk Highway (the offices of Lawrence Opisso, D.C.) before coming to a stop in a flower bed. The florist van came to rest on the sidewalk.

 

One person from the accident was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
