MASSAPEQUA, NY - This is the scene in Massapequa Saturday evening after a police chase (which originated in Suffolk County) ended with two vehicles flipping over. The accident occured on the westbound side of Sunrise Highway, across from the HSBC Bank (5500 Sunrise Highway). One vehicle landed on its side in the center median while the second vehicle landed upside down on the LIRR embankment. One patient was transported to a local hospital via Massapequa Fire Department, one via a Nassau County Police Ambulance and one via Suffolk County Police (who was taken into custody).
