01/04/2007: SUV Vs. House In Massapequa Park

MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY – Around 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008 the Massapequa Fire Department responded to an SUV into a house at 22 Prade Lane. Upon arrival responding units found a 2007 Jeep Cherokee with its rear inside the living room of a house. According to officials, a 19 year old was backing the vehicle out of his driveway across the street when the accelerator became stuck and he crashed into the house. Once Massapequa firefighters secured the building and made sure no utilities were affected, Nassau County ESU removed the vehicle. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
