LINDENHURST, NY - This is the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident in Lindenhurst Sunday evening. The accident occured in front of 1315 Montauk Highway. The accident called to the scene emergency services from Lindenhurst, Copiague, North Lindenhurst, Amityville and Babylon. Multiple patients were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital under trauma alerts. At least one person was pronounced at the scene. Suffolk County Police closed off Montauk Highway in both directions while an accident investigation took place. (Photo by Adam Daley / July 26, 2009)
