IPTC: Caption MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY (Thursday, October 18, 2007) – The Massapequa Fire Department responded to a serious motor vehicle crash around noon today at the corner of Park Blvd and Massapequa Avenue. Sources say a repo-man showed up at a woman’s house to repossess her Volva S40. After a verbal altercation the woman jumped into her vehicle and fled eastbound on Massapequa Avenue. Racing through a stop sign the woman was broadsided by a Cadillac Escalade traveling down Park Blvd. Both vehicles ended up on the front lawn of a house at the corner of Massapequa Avenue and Park Blvd. One of the vehicles even struck a tree. The Escalade sustained front end damage while the S40 sustained heavy damage all around, with the majority of the damage on the passenger side. Both driver’s were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
