02/17/2007: Car Fire At Pistachios

LINDENHURST, NY - At 10pm on Saturday, February 17, 2007 the Breslau Engine Company of the Lindenhurst Fire Department was toned out for a vehicle fire with a possible occupant behind Pistachios Bar at 101 East Hoffman Avenue.

Upon arrival by Chief Robert Pflug units were updated indicating the occupant was out of the vehicle with no injuries. Engine 1-6-3 arrived and made quick work of the fire, which was confined to the engine compartment.

It is unknown at this time what the cause of the fire was.
